IFA joins CLEBP board

An independent financial advisor (IFA) from Wadebridge has joined the board of an organisation that brings businesses and education providers together.

Chris Rowe, an IFA at Truro and Wadebridge-based Worldwide Financial Planning, has become a director for the Cornwall Learning Education Business Partnership (CLEBP).

CLEBP is part of Cornwall Council’s Children, Schools and Families department and offers specialist knowledge in enterprise and vocational education.

Rowe was asked to join the board following his work to help school children across Cornwall gain a better understanding of finance and business through Worldwide’s Virtual Trading Challenge and work experience programmes.

CLEBP’s Helen Field said: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming Chris to the Cornwall Learning Education Business Partnership board.

“Over the last three years through the Virtual Trading Challenge and Worldwide’s work experience scheme, Chris has showed himself to be enthusiastic and committed to helping young people learn improve their understanding of money and business.”
