The employment team at Coodes Solicitors has been given a boost as one member of legal staff becomes fully qualified and another completes his training contract.

Anna Garde-Evans, based in the Launceston office, has been admitted to the roll of solicitors after completing her training with Coodes.

She joined the firm in May 2008, having graduated from University of West of England with a law degree. She worked in Bristol as both a legal secretary and legal assistant before moving to Cornwall.

Phil Sayers, based in the Truro office, has completed his training contract and is expected to join the roll of solicitors in May to become a fully qualified solicitor.

Sayers also joined in 2008, having graduated from Southampton University with a degree in law and politics and worked for a legal firm in Exeter.

Managing partner Jeremy Harvey said: “We’re hugely committed to supporting staff through their training contract to becoming fully fledged solicitors.

“We have a growing employment team at several offices throughout the county. Congratulations to Anna and Phil for their hard work and we’re looking forward to supporting their ongoing legal careers.”
