A Cornish internet company is broadening its horizons following the appointment of a new recruit through the Unlocking Cornish Potential (UCP) scheme.
Tom Willoughby was officially hired by Redfuse Internet on January 4, and owner Mark Grice said: “It is so hard to find talented developers in Cornwall that the minute we realised how skilled Tom was we snapped him up by offering him a job.
“Tom will mainly be working on e-commerce websites, but having him onboard also means we now have the time and capacity to take on several complicated projects for our clients.”
After studying computer networking while taking his A Levels at Camborne School, Willoughby went on to take the a foundation degree in Computer Networking at Camborne College.
