SITA names new Cornwall manager

Waste management company SITA has appointed a new regional manager for its Cornwall-based operation.

James Pike, who for has been general manager for SITA UK in south Gloucestershire for the past four years,  replaces Louis de Poncheville, who has been appointed as SITA’s general manager for the south west.

Pike brings a wealth of knowledge to Cornwall following a career in waste management over the last ten years, with significant experience in the development and operation of integrated waste management contracts across the country.

He commented: “I am delighted to have been appointed as regional manager for SITA Cornwall. This is a critical time for waste management in Cornwall and I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead.”
