Cornwall College Business (CCB) part of The Cornwall College Group has officially become an approved study centre for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
CIMA is the world’s largest and leading professional body of management accountants and CCB are accredited to run the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting.
Russell Searle, accountancy trainer at CCB, explains: “The CIMA qualification offers an excellent opportunity for anyone with an accounting background to work in a wide range of business sectors, from public to private, or to pursue a career in business.
“The programme will give you core accountancy skills that management accountants need to drive any business forward, including big data, sustainably, integrated reporting, finance function transformation, risk and costing, and cost management.”
The CIMA course is due to start on September 10th and will be delivered at The Business Space, Truro. The course runs one afternoon per week from 2pm – 6pm (term time only) and finishing in July 2016.
