A Pool-based business has been congratulated by Cornwall Sports Partnership for its efforts in keeping its workplace active.
Regulatory affairs consultancy, TRAC Services, has been awarded The Sport Partnership’s ‘Physical Activity Certificate’, rewarding its commitment to maintaining a healthy workplace.
The company has implemented a schedule of indoor and outdoor activities for staff members, which are suitable for all ages and abilities.
Working with the Sports Partnership, TRAC have participated in initiatives such as the workplace challenge, the annual beach games, walking tea breaks and staff badminton sessions.
Bruce Lockie, physical activity lead at the Cornwall Sport Partnership, said: “The Cornwall Sports Partnership is delighted to award TRAC Services the Physical Activity Certificate.
“TRAC has been a fantastic organisation to work with, understanding the benefits of physical activity for their workforce.”
TRAC director, Sarah Trethowan, added: “It’s been fantastic to get involved in such an initiative, encouraging the team to take part in some fun and sometimes unconventional activities.
“Working with the Sports Partnership, we have proven that you don’t have to be a big organisation to have a positive impact on your staff’s wellbeing.”
