Some of Cornwall’s leading enterprises have signed up as Business Partners to support Cornwall Chamber of Commerce over the next 12 months.
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organisation which exists solely to support businesses in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.
Every year, the chamber signs up companies on a higher-level of membership to support its ongoing work.
A number of existing sponsors have opted to continue supporting the chamber for another term – Worldwide Financial Planning, Penventon Hotel, Bishop Fleming, St Austell Printing Company, Ginsters, South West Investment Group (SWIG), Truro and Penwith College and Newquay Cornwall Airport.
New sponsors include Falmouth University, South West Water Business Services and Foot Anstey.
James Collings, partner at Foot Anstey commented on the new partnership: “We join some of Cornwall’s top names as partners of the chamber. Kim and his team play a very important role in championing the cause of businesses in the region and we were keen to support them in their valued work.”
Sapience HR, Crowdfunder and Peninsula Enterprise have also signed up as sponsors for the first time.
Sue Hook, MD at Sapience HR and a former president of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, said she was “delighted” that Sapience was to become a Business Partner. “In Cornwall, the chamber is the ‘go to’ business and networking opportunity and the place to meet other great Cornish businesses,” she commented.
“We are pleased to further support the great work of the Chamber and make sure it remains at the centre of business in Cornwall.”
Joining Business Cornwall and Pirate FM as Media Partners for the coming year are DC Media and Sue Bradbury PR.
Chamber chief executive, Kim Conchie, said: “We are thrilled to be able to call so many of Cornwall’s fantastic businesses our Business Partners.
“By building a close relationship with this list of some of Cornwall’s leading and varied businesses we learn how the Chamber can better serve all of the Duchy’s business needs.
“We are very proud to be working with them and are really grateful for their commitment.”
