The Newquay Business Improvement District (BID) will host the town’s first ever business week next month.

The week (October 19-23) will feature a comprehensive programme of seminars and events, held throughout the town’s leading tourism and hospitality venues.

Newquay BID director, Karen Hoyle, said: “Newquay Business Week is a platform to bring champion advisors and leaders directly to Newquay’s entrepreneurs and key businesses.

“Recognising the town’s ongoing achievements and future economic goals, the project is an opportunity to bolster the community and entrepreneurial spirit that drives most local business owners.

“Employees and business owners in Newquay have the opportunity to come together with like-minded people to learn what business support is available to them via various funding pots and also help to shape the future and the direction of this burgeoning Cornish town.”

Key components of the agenda will include sessions from the likes of Ernest Capbert, co-founder of Finisterre, offering advice on ‘How To Build A Brand’; Rob Edlin, director of Niddocks and Google partner talking about getting the most out of online search and analytics; Simon Tregonning of Aspects Holidays speaking on digital marketing and further sessions from The Aerohub, UKTI, Anja Jones Translation, Visit England and Cornwall 365.
