Agency shortlisted for award

Falmouth based Marketing and PR agency, The Vine has been shortlisted for an award from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

The Vine’s Ready for Bed? campaign for global children’s lifestyle brand Worlds Apart is a finalist in the PRide Award 2015 Integrated Campaign category.

PRide recognises outstanding PR practice across nine UK regions and nations, celebrating exceptional business talent. After previously scooping Gold in the awards, The Vine has been drawn from a selection of South of England and Channel Island consultancies.

Managing director Lotte Mahon commented on the agency’s PR news stating: “Our PR team has repeatedly delivered strong national media coverage which complements strategic marketing activity, and our integrated approach has allowed us to stand out from the crowd. We are thrilled to be recognised in the CIPR awards – particularly within the integrated category.

We are proud of what we have achieved with the Ready for Bed? Campaign and are excited to continue developing our strong and distinctive integrated approach with new and existing clients.”

The announcement coincides with the expansion of The Vine’s public relations team, with the hire of Kaylie Finn as PR account manager.

Finn joins The Vine bringing with her media contacts and experience. In her new role Finn is looking forward to continuing with press office management for The Vine’s client base, whilst developing new PR strategies and campaigns.

Speaking about joining The Vine’s burgeoning team of professionals, Finn said: “I’m thrilled to have joined The Vine after interning for the company many years ago. I’m genuinely passionate about the PR industry and excited to contribute to the varied skillset of our seven-strong team.”
