Cornwall College Camborne has been awarded an AA College Rosette for the quality of the food and standards of service at its Trevenson restaurant.
The award comes a few weeks after The Cornwall College Group was recognised by People First as a one of the best catering colleges in the UK.
Curriculum lead for hospitality at Cornwall College, Stuart Mathieson, said: “I am delighted that our team has received this highly commended Rosette – it is an award that was won by our students who were not aware the inspection was taking place.
“They proved to the inspector that they had an excellent grasp of commercial sense and that they could compete well within a true restaurant environment. Trevenson is a fabulous environment to work in and reflects totally the current thinking in restaurant design.”
