Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the Alzheimer’s Society to raise awareness of Dementia in Cornwall at a corporate quiz.

This Wednesday (May 20), Cornwall’s businesses have the chance to prove just how knowledgeable they are as they take on competitors, colleagues and new contacts in a quiz raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The quiz – which takes place in Dementia Awareness Week 2015, will be held at Driftwood Spars in St Agnes, 6pm-8pm.

Individuals can enjoy pasty and a pint (or glass of wine) and the chance to network with their opposing team mates.

BBC Radio Cornwall assistant editor, Daphne Skinnard is quiz master for the evening.

The winning team of four will receive a fantastic prize hamper which includes dinner and cocktails at local hotels, family passes for days out in the Duchy, Polgoon wine and more. There will also be a prize for the losing team and for the team with the best name!

Kim Conchie, chief executive of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce said: “This is going to be a fantastic early evening event supporting a great cause.

“Whether you see it as a team building exercise, a chance to catch up with colleagues socially, or just a fun evening out supporting a worthy cause – it’s not to be missed.”

The cost to take part is £10 – the price includes a place on a team, pasty and a pint (or glass of wine), networking and a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society. To book in as an individual or team of four click here.
