Falmouth coffee shop, Picnic Cornwall, has won Gold in the Independent Café of the Year category of the National Café Life Awards 2014.
The awards were presented by celebrity chef Aldo Zilli and judged by a panel of industry professionals who travelled across the UK from Ayr to Cornwall to visit the nine finalists as secret visitors.
Owner, Emma Douglas, said: “We are totally stunned and over the moon.
“It is a massive complement and a reflection of the hard work that we our team put in to making Picnic Cornwall a welcoming environment serving fantastic local produce.”
