TRAC exhibited overseas for the first time at the 50th Annual DIA Meeting in San Diego with support from the UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).

TRAC director, Jonathan Trethowan, together with commercial manager, Natalie Hann, and regulatory affairs consultant, Kirsty Cotton, represented the Cornish consultancy at the event with the specific aim of bringing European (EU) regulatory affairs expertise to the US market.

“The pharmaceutical regulations in the USA and EU differ significantly,” explained Trethowan.

“TRAC brings specialist local knowledge and experience that is crucial for American companies looking to expand and successfully market their medicines in Europe.

“The event was a great platform to demonstrate TRAC’s expertise and reach a wider network of potential clients.”

Last year TRAC’s export services represented 23% of overall turnover. The aim is to increase this further following a number of new business opportunities generated from the recent San Diego event.
