A Cornish sailing duo with Olympic aspirations are seeking corporate sponsorship to help turn their Rio dream into reality.

Tom Phipps and Zennor Pascoe teamed up at the end of 2013 with the aim of representing GBR at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

The Cornish team based out of Mylor near Falmouth, will be racing in the newly adopted mixed multihull sailing discipline, and specifically in a catamaran called the Nacra 17.

Phipps has dominated catamaran sailing since his career began, achieving numerous worlds and european titles along the way, including two golds and a silver medal at the youth sailing Olympics.

Pascoe has come from a slightly different route. Focusing on bigger boats, by the time she was 17 had already passed her yacht master. Over the last years, she has been sailing and racing keelboats, maxis and super yachts around the world.
