Business support programmes Outset Cornwall and Cornwall Enterprising Women joined forces this week (February 17) to host their first Money Market, a new finance-focused event aimed at helping businesses achieve their financial goals.
Held in the Exhibition Hall at Kingsley Village, the event attracted support from a range of finance and business development organisations such as Francis Clark, Cornwall College Business, Cornwall School for Social Entrepreneurs and HSBC.
Outset client and attendee Dawn Watson, owner of The Saucy Baker Ltd, said: “I had every one of my questions answered and more today, so I found it a really positive and informative event. The stands were very varied and there was something for everyone. I really got a lot out of it.”
Esther Barrand, business specialist with NatWest who exhibited at the event, said: “I’ve spoken to lots of different people today, both existing and new businesses and found it very interesting. For us, it’s been an event worth coming to and we’d definitely want to support it in future.”
