The results of the Q3 survey, conducted for the chamber by PFA Research, show that 65% of respondents expect turnover to increase over the next 12 months, with 53% anticipating a rise in profits.

21% of businesses have increased their staff, with the same figure expecting to increase over the next quarter.

Chamber CEO, Kim Conchie (pictured), said: “The survey has thrown up an interesting fact that recruitment seems to be the biggest challenge in the Duchy, with 51% experiencing difficulties in recruiting clerical and semi skilled staff, obviously an area that needs addressing.”
