Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall has undergone a makeover with the help of a local artist.

Following a complete refurbishment and kitchen re-fit earlier in the year, Newquay artist Ben Allen projected, sprayed and painted onto a blank white wall canvas transforming the restaurant into a work of art.

Allen, who takes inspiration from a number of concepts and cultures including Japanese graphics, surfing comic book art, the punk scene, seventies culture and pin-up books, aimed to bring a unique piece of art work to the well-known restaurant on Watergate Bay.

As a self-taught artist, he has spent the last ten years working in a new wave of expressive art, ‘Pop Surrealism’ and has exhibited his paintings in venues and galleries internationally as well as selling to celebrities such as Richard Branson, Stephen Dorff and Jade Jagger.
