Cornwall Food & Drink has launched the first ‘Truly Cornish Café Trail’; a listing of some of the best independent cafés in the Duchy.
It takes the form of a map and guide, featuring establishments from Sennen in the west, up to Bude on the north coast.
It is part of the Choose Cornish campaign, initiated by Cornwall Food & Drink and the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce to reinvigorate local purchasing in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and generate value within the local economy.
The Choose Cornish Awards later in the year will be looking for the ‘Truly Cornish Café Champion’ – one café business that has gone the extra mile to ‘go local’ and embrace the Choose Cornish campaign.
A copy of the Truly Cornish Cafe Trail can be picked up at tourist offices and attractions across Cornwall, or can be downloaded from the Choose Cornish website.
