Best Western Falmouth Beach Hotel is to reopen its Beach Club leisure centre later this month.

The indoor pool and leisure complex at the back of the building was largely undamaged by the fire that ripped through the hotel in April, but has been forced to remain closed until now for health and safety reasons.

The Beach Club will be accessible through the entrance on Gyllyngvase Hill and from October 15, will offer full opening hours from 7am to 10pm daily.

The condemned sections of the hotel are currently being demolished to make way for a rebuild at the site opposite Gyllyngvase Beach.

“We’re delighted to once again provide one of the facilities Falmouth Beach has been so popular for,” said Ryan Ohly, general manager of the hotel.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure the Beach Club will still be an enjoyable, relaxing and above all safe place to spend time.”
