Sue Hook is stepping down as chair of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Hook has held the position since the beginning of the year, taking over from Martin Follett. A statement from the board read: “Sue Hook from Sapience HR, has led the Chamber through some exciting and challenging changes over the last year.
“Now that our new CEO, Kim Conchie, has settled into his role, Sue has indicated a wish to step down as chair, due to competing demands on her time.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sue for her work with the Chamber, we are intensely grateful for her leadership, commitment, support and energy during her time with the Chamber Board and in her role as chair. Sue’s last official engagement will be 23rd October at the AGM.”
