Community Energy Plus (CEP) has achieved the ISO 9001 standard for its Quality Management Systems.
The Cornish social enterprise, which provides services for households and businesses to reduce their energy use, was awarded the internationally recognised quality mark after an independent assessment of its quality control processes by the systems and services certification assessors SGS.
MD Ian Smith said: “ISO management systems are increasingly becoming vital for working with public and private sector partners. They also provide tremendous value by ensuring that appropriate processes are thoroughly embedded to help us become a more efficient and effective across all areas of our operations.”
