Lusty Glaze ‘facing insolvency’

It is being reported that a Newquay-based adventure centre is facing insolvency and is set close down.

BBC Cornwall says it has learnt that staff at Lusty Glaze, believed to number around 15, have been issued with redundancy notices.

In the letters sent out by Lusty Glaze Ltd company director Howard Wilkinson, staff were told that there were “no funds available to make a redundancy payment or to pay any notice or accrued holiday payments”.

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Lusty Glaze Ltd are facing insolvency, having worked closely with the staff there to provide many fantastic holidays for our guests over the last year. We would like to reassure all our guests that have booked their holidays at Lusty Glaze through Cornish Cottage Holidays, that whilst we wait to hear the outcome of the site’s future, we can guarantee a full refund at our expense and no guest will be financially disadvantaged. We are in the process of contacting all our guests who have booked holidays at Lusty Glaze.
