Launched on the back of the successful Fal River Festival, the Fal River Autumn Walking Festival runs from Friday, October 21 to Sunday, November 6.

The first festival of its kind, the event includes walks around Truro and Falmouth, as well as from The Roseland to Helford.

Festival director, Toby Budd, said: “We’re really pleased that the guides are ready.

“They are easy to use and carry, which means they are ideal for people to pick up and put in their pocket or bag and get out walking.

“The other great thing is that people can follow the self-guided walks all year round and enjoy them outside, as well as during, the festival.

“We’re now distributing them to visitor information centres, hotels, tourist attractions, shops, cafes and restaurants to ensure that as many people as possible have access to them.”

As well as the guidebook, details for the all of the walks are available from festival website.
