Run by Falmouth Festivals Ltd and sponsored by Rick Stein’s Fish and Chips and the Greenbank Hotel, visitors will have the chance to enjoy a range of cooking demonstrations by local chefs.

Greenbank Fal River Festival director, Toby Budd, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome the Fal Fish Festival back for a second year.

“Last year’s event was a huge success. We were blessed with sunshine for the whole weekend and over 5,000 people attended.

“It’s also great that we are able to support and raise money for the Fisherman’s Mission this year.”

As well as live cooking demonstrations there will be market stalls, live music and a range of other attractions and exhibits.

The festival will finish with a fish auction.

Nicola Duncan from Rick Stein’s said: “The Fal Fish Festival is great opportunity to showcase the talents of local chefs, as well as encourage people to try fish dishes that may be new to them.”
