Estate agents join forces

Cornwall’s estate and letting agents are joining forces in a major new initiative to showcase homes for sale and rent.

Around 85% of them have signed up with Radarhomes.co.uk, an online marketing service that is majority-owned by the agents themselves.

Radarhomes.co.uk is going head to head with the national portals, providing a sophisticated local and regional service but keeping online advertising costs down through member ownership.

In total, over 250 estate agent offices across the south west have joined the new venture. Managed by a team of experienced estate agents and IT specialists, the company is based in Exeter but plans to expand into other regions in the immediate future.

“As the south west’s only property portal that is majority agent-owned and independently run, it is our firm intention to build Radarhomes.co.uk into the leading regional property portal for both residential and letting property,” said managing director Mark Flynn.

“With an easy to navigate site, well populated with a wide range of properties from a large number of agents, it will be a very attractive proposition to agents, clients and consumers alike.

“As Radarhomes.co.uk has the majority of estate and letting agents in Cornwall displaying all their properties, we believe that the site will very soon become the first choice for anyone wanting a ‘one stop shop’ for all their property requirements, whether they are buying or selling in the area.”

Radarhomes.co.uk has been founded by Flynn and Jonathan Williams and Julian Partridge, who all have over 20 years’ experience as agents in the south west, including their launch last year of Home Swap Ltd.
