Definitely not. I know really happy poor people.

Most of them.

What has been the best moment in your career?

Going to look for my first real job in a recruitment company and getting hired by them.

What has been the worst moment in your career?

Falling off a chair in a presentation (I was presenting).

If you could be God for a day, what miracle would you perform?

Make Zimbabwe peaceful – I have friends there and still hear regular horror stories.

What do you begrudge spending money on?

Airport taxes.

If you only had £1 left in the entire world, what would you spend it on?

Somebody else.

What’s the best thing about Cornwall?

Wild scenery.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned in life?

Shower the people you love with love by James Taylor.

What makes you happy?

Being with my family and friends listening to James Taylor and reading poetry.

Ignorance.

If you could invite any two people for dinner, who would they be and why would you invite them?

My late father, because I still miss him and Billy Connelly because we could have a great laugh.

My family, my friends and my faith.
