A Cornish environmental company is looking for south west businesses that want to receive free advice on cutting down energy bills.
Penryn-based sustainability consultants, Lightwater Environmental Ltd, is targeting 100 companies across the region, and offering them the chance to have a free environmental audit.
The inspection will assess each company’s lighting and water usage and determine what needs to be done to improve efficiency, as well as save money.
“These audits are a really useful method of making businesses re-assess their impact on the environment and taking that step towards making changes,” said Lightwater’s sales director, Mike Tomlinson.
“The simplest alterations can be made, such as using more energy efficient products, all of which will reduce the amount of electricity and water needed.
“By making these changes, businesses are doing their bit for the environment whilst making an investment for the future because in the long-term they save money.”
