Anthony Greenwood Photography is celebrating its fourth birthday with the announcement of a fine art photography exhibition on the theme of fatherhood.

The exhibition, to be held later this year, will focus on the key role fathers play in their children’s lives. A father of two himself, Anthony is looking to reveal how today’s fathers express their emotions and to capture the essence of the very special relationships they have with their children.

Currently working on images for the project, Greenwood would like to hear from fathers who’d like to take part and be photographed for the exhibition.

Anthony Greenwood Photography specialises in commercial photography and has become well known throughout the south west for bringing a powerful creative aesthetic to his marketing and promotional images.

As Martin Nixon of Nixon Design, one of his first clients, remarked: “Anthony was a natural choice for our 20th Anniversary brochure and that word ‘natural’ sums up his work. It is authentic, instinctive, never contrived and very effective in telling a story.”

Clients that have benefitted from this approach include iconic Cornish names such as The Eden Project, Isles of Scilly Partnership, Trewithen Dairy and The Cornish Bakery and the St Mawes Hotel.

Greenwood regularly teams up with some of Cornwall’s most successful design and marketing agencies – Absolute Design, Wolf Rock Marketing, Zephyr Design and LEAP to produce portraiture, product, landscape, interiors and food photography.

A recently completed project saw Anthony working with Wolf Rock Marketing. Director, Phil Gendall commented: “We chose Anthony for our 2015 Isles of Scilly photoshoot because we felt he had the right combination of creativity, technical expertise and professionalism. All aspects of the shoot ran smoothly with Anthony’s hard working and good-natured approach helping hugely in demanding situations. And the results? We are delighted, and so is our client.”

Greenwood set up the business in 2012 following a career spanning various areas of the creative industries including product design, marketing, design education and the arts.

He said: “Having experience of being client-side in some of the businesses I’d worked in and run means that I have a firm understanding of marketing and graphic design requirements. The service I offer adapts to each individual project’s requirements and, of course, the idiosyncrasies of the Cornish weather!”

Greenwood is looking forward to growing his client base over the next four years as well as continuing to work on projects with his regular clients.

The exhibition planned for late 2016 will mark a return to his fine art-based roots. If you’re interested in hearing how you could become involved as a subject for the exhibition please contact Anthony Greenwood on 07966 389202.
