Many PR and Marketing agencies are so busy promoting their clients that they fail to show off their own skills and abilities, says Vicky Williams.

At Truro-based digital marketing agency, HookedOnMedia, we decided to do something different and take up a ten-minute slot, fortnightly on the Pirate2 Business Hub after being invited by Pirate FM’s new managing director, Mark Peters to appear on the very first show.

Here are some good reasons why you should tune in

Pick up some useful tips for your business website

By listening to our show you can pick up tips on how to get your website ready for Christmas to how to recover from a Google penalty. Even if you aren’t looking for a digital agency to help enhance your business website, you can always pick up ideas so you can implement yourself.  Sometimes listening to ideas can inspire you, especially of you are a small business with limited funds.

An opportunity to ask a local digital agency for advice

You can put the HookedOnMedia directors, Andrew Thomas and Stewart Roode, through their paces by asking them questions which they can answer on the show. All you have to do is email radio@hookedonmedia.com and they will read them out at the end of each show. You can also tweet us your questions and we will aim to answer them in 140 characters @Hookedonmedia.

You can listen to the show in the background while driving home, in the office, at the gym or eating your dinner

One of the great things about the Pirate2 Business Hub show is that you can listen to it wherever you are and whatever you are doing and if you miss the first show you can always download the show and listen to it at a more convenient time.  If you are taking notes and you miss bits you can rewind it or play the show to your colleagues, friends and family.

The show is broadcast to listeners every Monday from 7pm. You can listen to the show here or to catch up on our previous shows visit our blog at www.hookedonmedia.com/blog/.
