Applied Business Solutions has completed the first phase of an ePOS installation on the Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park estate.

Mount Edgcumbe, which is currently undergoing a multimillion pound refurbishment programme, previously had no ePOS system or any effective stock control or reporting facilities.

Consequently Plymouth City Council, which jointly owns Mount Edgcumbe with Cornwall Council, called in Applied Business Solutions.

Applied Business Solutions’ ePOS Product Manager, Simon Jones, said: “As an ongoing project with Plymouth City Council, the installation at Mount Edgcumbe integrates seamlessly with Plymouth’s business plan and business objectives.”

Mount Edgcumbe is the former home of the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe, found on the Rame Peninsula, in south east Cornwall. Nowadays it is used for wedding ceremonies and conferences, with the gardens and house open daily to visitors.
