The skills needed to run a successful event are to be taught in a series of one-day courses being put on by Event Cornwall this autumn.

The Truro-based company is sharing its knowledge of delivering events by organising the one-day workshops, which will cover everything from the basics to best practice.

Event Cornwall director, Claire Eason-Bassett, said: “Each of the courses are designed to support businesses in making the most of their events and is limited to just eight places per course to ensure that everyone gets the maximum from each session.

“They have been created so people can do one or all of them depending on what they want to learn, or skills they want to develop.”

The first workshop will be an introduction to event management, and will be run on Friday September 24 and again on Saturday September 30.
