The administrators have been called into Redruth-based printer Century Litho (Truro) Ltd, with the loss of 60 jobs.

Greg Palfrey and Steve Adshead, from Southampton-based Smith & Williamson, were appointed joint administrators yesterday, hours after a final interested party withdrew from acquisition talks.

Palfrey said: “Our appointment followed several days of intense negotiations to find a buyer for some or all of the businesses. While there was some interest all parties ultimately withdrew.

“We would welcome any further expressions of interest in the business and assets of Century Litho (Truro) Ltd.”
