The meeting will see Sir Harry give George an update on the SWRDA’s current projects and their plans for the future. George will use the opportunity to raise a number of issues with Sir Harry including; developments at both Hayle and Penzance harbours; other strategic transport links such as the helicopter link to the Isles of Scilly; the future of the SWRDA’s economic development plans for the area and the future of the EU convergence funding programme. He will also raise the progress of the Wave Hub project.

George said: “I look forward to meeting Sir Harry this afternoon. It will be a good opportunity to discuss a number of key projects affecting West Cornwall and the Scillies. The SWRDA’s plans are vital both now and for future local development.”
