St Blazey service station, located near St Austell, has won a regional winner award in the national Aim Hi Awards from Jet.

The Aim Hi awards recognise a Jet station’s commitment to offering a friendly and efficient service in the local community. It compares facilities from across the country in terms of their customer care and staff communication, utilising feedback from the company’s mystery merchandiser programme and is judged internally by a senior team drawn from across the organisation.

Patrick Hudson, Jet’s marketing manager, retail, commented: “We congratulate the team at St Blazey service station. Jet is utterly dedicated to its service stations and giving them the support and infrastructure to help them deliver an unrivalled service in the local community.”

The station is owned by Barrie Richards and operated by his son Charles, who commented: “It’s a tremendous honour to be announced as the south west winner of Jet’s Aim Hi programme. Competition locally is intense but with the support of the Jet brand, we are able to deliver a market-leading service thanks to the commitment of our team here at St Blazey.”
