Specialist Bodmin-based Internet Service Provider MacAce.net has been named Best ISP at the annual MacWorld Awards.

Now in its 14th year, the MacWorld Awards are considered to be the most recognised awards in the UK for the MAC industry.

MacAce, which specialises in internet services for Mac users, managed to topple some of the biggest names in the internet industry to the prize including O2, Sky Broadband, Virgin Media, TalkTalk and Zen.

CEO Gary Hall said: “I’m delighted that our hard work in the quality of our customer experience in areas such as technical support, speed and reliability has been rewarded with such prestigious recognition.

“As it’s voted for by the readers, this shows how highly our internet services are valued by our customers. I would like to thank my staff for their unfailing efforts and all who voted. It’s also testiment to what a local Cornish company can achieve against the some of the largest companies in the country.”
