Wells reelected to FSB role

Cornish businesswoman Carol Wells has again been voted in as national vice chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) at its annual conference in South Wales.
Wells was the first woman to be appointed Cornwall FSB Chair, which she still is, and was a founder member of the Objective one Business Task Force. She is well known in Cornwall as a “safe pair of hands” and a knowledgeable business person. She is in the fortunate position of being a national figure but does not lose touch with her Cornish roots or the very smallest of small businesses.
Cornwall regional committee member and construction business owner, Adrian Penter, said: “The re-election of Carol Wells is a result of all the hard work she has put into the Cornish region and elsewhere in the south west to promote the small business person and the FSB through lobbying with Government officers.”
In her candidate profile, Wells expressed her vision for the FSB, stating that it is moving forward into a very exciting future with growing numbers of members and increasing opportunities to shape the economic world.
