Sam Hearn

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has welcomed Truro-based marketer Sam Hearn onto its south west regional board.

With more than ten years’ marketing experience across the tourism, education and military industries, Hearn is currently a business development adviser specialising in e-marketing at Truro and Penwith College.

He commented: “I hope to get the Institute more engaged not only with businesses across the region but with marketing professionals and students, in an environment where they can learn from each others’ experiences.

“Consulting with Cornwall businesses on a daily basis to identify what marketing solutions exists to combat the recession, my new role on the board will give me the opportunity to represent their best interests and also explore what kind of marketing support is needed in the county.”
