New Eight Wire recruit Matt Tipler

The Penryn-based company has recruited electronic graphics graduate Matt Tipler through the Unlocking Cornish Potential scheme. His specific role is to strengthen the firm’s web design section while using the company’s marketing expertise and resources on itself.

After graduating in 2001, Tipler enjoyed a successful freelance career where he compiled an impressive portfolio including a scheme of food packaging for Tregothnan Estates and a “Wills in a Box” promotion that Follet Stock solicitors took to the Royal Cornwall Show in 2008.

Eight Wire partner Jamie Smith commented: “We were highly impressed with what Matt had achieved as a freelance and were struck by the enormous amount of creativity he showed in his dedication to get the best possible results for clients.”

Tipler added: “It’s great to land this job in the creative industry for which I trained. It’s very exciting to be joining Eight Wire at a time of growth and I am very pleased to be playing a part in it. I’m also very grateful to the team at Unlocking Cornish Potential for helping to make this opportunity happen for me.”
