Hodgsons Chartered Accountants has welcomed a highly qualified and internationally experienced tax manager to its Falmouth team.

Angeline Egginton-Laity has moved back home to the Redruth area from Dubai where she ran a tax practice for eight years specialising in inheritance and capital gains tax.

Prior to her work in Dubai, she worked for Ernst & Young and brings a total of 17 years of post-qualification experience to Hodgsons. She said: “Although Dubai was a fantastic experience, it was time to return home to my Cornish roots. I still have clients in Dubai, Abu-Dhabi and Qatar but am looking forward to working with Hodgsons’ impressive portfolio of personal clients.”

James Hodgson, partner at Hodgsons, said: “We feel extremely privileged to have Angeline on board with her extensive experience in tax planning as this is a significant area of business for us.”
