Andrew Jones, of Helston Garages, hands over a fleet of new Volkswagen Golfs to Classic Cottages

Classic Cottages has taken delivery of a new fleet of cars from neighbour Helston Garages.

The latest delivery of six new Volkswagen Golf Bluemotions is the biggest-ever consignment to make the short delivery trip – just 600 yards – between the two bases.

Each car will travel up to 40,000 miles annually as Classic’s property managers personally visit all the company’s 600-plus existing and prospective properties in the region, from Penzance to Dorset.

“With these sort of logistics, it is essential to have cars that are reliable, economical and environmentally friendly,” said Tanya Paul, Classic’s property manager support.

Helston Garages sales manager Andrew Jones commented: “The two companies have enjoyed a fantastic relationship for a long time now and we are delighted to be able once again to supply them with their vital transport needs.

“We wish them continuing success and have every confidence that these great new cars will literally help them along the way.”
