The Isles of Scilly has been named in a global list of must-see travel destinations to visit in 2010.

Each year editorial staff from Frommer’s, America’s best-selling travel guide series, put their heads together to determine what destinations travellers should be considering in the year ahead. This list is a mix of emerging spots, under-appreciated cities and places to experience before they are overrun by tourist crowds.

Scilly appears along with 12 other destinations, from such diverse locations as Hanoi in Vietnam; Melbourne, Australia; and Kerala in India.
