A Falmouth-based e-commerce company is searching for the best of Cornish products to showcase on its new website.

www.lifeandhome.co.uk, run by Rosie Cook and her company ISell, based at Tregoniggie Industrial Estate, is a website specialising in unique, quirky and excellent quality products.

Cook and her team have been scouring the county for the best Cornwall has to offer, particularly for food and drink, gifts and home and garden products.

For a limited period, sellers can list their products for free on www.lifeandhome.co.uk and only pay commission on goods sold.

Cook said: “Cornwall is the home of quality products and innovative ideas, and we want to find the best our fantastic county has to offer to showcase on our website.

“Our site is designed so that shopping is an enjoyable, hassle free experience – offering products with a purpose that you won’t find easily in the shops.

“We want to work in partnership with sellers who have something unique to offer, while we do all the hard work of making sure everyone knows about lifeandhome.co.uk and their products.”

Life&Home works by taking payment directly from the customer and passing on orders to the supplier for dispatch.

The website is aimed at producers, suppliers, manufacturers and designers who may not have the time or budget to market their unique products.

One Cornish company that has got on board is EKO Sense, an eco-friendly clothing range made from natural fibres. Designer Helen Davies has listed products such as bamboo bath towels and soyabean wrap tops.

She said: “We have our own website but this is a great way to get my products in front of a whole new range of customers. It’s beautifully designed and well-marketed so I can extend the reach of my brand.”
